We are looking for a skilled web developer who will be responsible for developing or designing static and dynamic websites for our company. You will be working alongside a team of other developers in creating, maintaining, and updating our websites.

Responsibilities
- Writing efficient code
- Creating websites using standard HTML/CSS practices
- Constant communication with other colleagues in the business to develop and deploy them content – and ensuring there is a clear establishment of what can be created within what timeframe
- Implementing contingency plans in case the website goes down
- Maintaining and expanding/enhancing the website once built
- Managing a team might also be part of the job role
Key
Requirements
- HTML/XHTML, CSS, JavaScript
- Server architecture
- Understanding of web technologies – strong command of HTML5 JavaScript, PHP, Bootstrap, MySQL, Linux, Apache, cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility, firewalls (functionality and maintenance)
- Knowledge on Web 2.0 design standards
- Experience in responsive web designing and rich internet applications
- Experience in developing interactive web applications
Soft Skills
- Has worked on responsive sites, using bootstrap or similar framework.
- Innovative approach in problem solving and finding optimal solutions.
- Good communication skills (written and verbal, formal and informal).
- Proactive / self-motivated working style with ownership in work.
- Deep interest and passion for technology.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, prioritize when under pressure.
- In depth knowledge of WordPress – developing themes, child themes and related functionality for a WordPress multisite network.
